The Talking Comes Later
Ben's 2nd book of Poems and drawings, "The Talking Comes Later" is now available. Special Show
Ben will be doing a special show on June 20th with author Jonathan Miles at the 331 Club in Minneapolis. Jonny will be reading from his new novel "Dear American Airlines" and Ben will be playing solo songs from his upcoming record The Ax In the Oak as well as accompanying Jonny while he reads.

Upcoming Release

The new record The Ax in the Oak has been mastered and will be released in The US on August 12th by Bloodshot Records and in Europe on August 8th by Glitterhouse Records. A Europe tour is being planned for September/October and US dates are also being planned around the release.

Two Square Cards + Art Card Collaboration

Ben and illustrator Dave Dwitt have collaborated on a series of art cards under the name Two Square Cards. The cards are being sold exclusively at Kopplins coffee in St. Paul and on the following websites www.benweaver.net, www.dwitt.com. This is the first series and includes 2 screen printed cards sold together, one drawn by Ben and one drawn by Dave. Each series will be limited to 50 cards total.

Ben has contributed a story to an anthology of short fiction being collected by Steven Horwitz for Melville House Press. The story collection consists of short fiction written by songwriters. The expected publish date is March of 2009.
